Based on our homepage we shouldn’t have to explain what we do or how we do it. This whole website is built around a new concept of us ‘being alive’ on the internet. After going through some of it, the only question on your mind should be, “How do I get involved?”

Strictly speaking, to become a Rotarian you have to be invited. But this of course does not mean you can’t simply ask us to invite you! To be frank, we have a whole committee established whose whole focus is on building membership and retaining it. If you wish to visit us simply click here.

Location

The Club is part of District 9350 , which covers the Western Cape, Namibia and Angola. Claremont is situated in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, on the Eastern slopes of Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak.

Where and When we Meet

We meet every Tuesday evening at Kelvin Grove at 18h15 for 18h45.

When we Were Chartered

Our Charter was granted by Rotary International on 24 October 1974. The Club was inaugurated on 4 December 1974 with a charter dinner attended by 20 founder members.

  1. Good afternoon, my name is Martin Booysen from Hart of Africa. Many years ago, we made metal key rings for the Newlands branch, however I cannot leave a message on their website(contact tab not working). Is there any chance you can ask someone there to contact me please.
    Thank you.
